Naxal killed in encounter

A combined patrolling party of C-60 jawans and Kobra Battalion of the CRPF came across a group of Maoists in the forests, who opened indiscriminate firing at them, police said.

The jawans also launched a retaliatory attack, in which one Naxalite was killed, police said, adding they also recovered some firearms and other material from the site.
