NBCC bags proj to build trade centre,crafts museum at Varanasi

State-run construction firm NBCC today said it has secured a Rs 197-crore project to build a Trade Facilitation Centre and Crafts Museum at Varanasi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for a Trade Facilitation Centre and Crafts Museum at his constituency Varanasi in November last year.

"Ministry of Textiles has entrusted the project of construction of Trade Facilitation Centre and Crafts Museum at Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) to NBCC for an estimated amount of Rs 197 crore," National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) said in a BSE filing.

NBCC shares closed 0.83 per cent up at Rs 927.50 apiece on the BSE today.
