Nick Jonas offered USD 2 million for Republican convention?

Singer Nick Jonas was reportedly offered USD 2 million to perform at a Republican National Convention but he declined.

The 23-year-old "Close" hitmaker was approached to play a free concert in Cleveland, as a thanksgiving to the city for hosting the RNC at the Quicken Loans Arena. Jonas was told that

the amount would be paid by a private donor but he rejected the

offer, reported TMZ quoting sources.

The news came out just after it was revealed that Justin Bieber had turned down a similar request for USD 5 million.

Nick and Demi Lovato are currently co-headlining their Future Now Tour. It is Jonas' third concert tour to promote his
 

third studio album "Last Year Was Complicated".
