NTPC officer gets 7-year RI

Judge Shyam Lal also slapped a fine of Rs two lakh on Susheel Gupta, Additional General Manager in NTPC Dadri project, yesterday.

The judge held him guilty for demanding Rs 5,000 per month from a contractor of vehicles in January 2010.

Gupta got the first instalment of Rs 5,000 and the money was recovered from him during a raid, the prosecution said. PTI CORR KUN RKC
