Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma today said Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has agreed to include paragliding in the 18th edition of Asian Games to be held in Indonesia in 2018.
"The decision was taken at the OCA General Assembly that took place at Danang in Vietnam on September 25," Sharma, who is also the president of Paragliding Association of the state, said.
The XVIII Asiad will be conducted in twin cities of Jakarta and Palembang and will feature 32 Olympic sports and eight non-Olympic sports, including paragliding.
