One hundred cartons of foreign liquor seized

Police today seized 100 cartons of foreign liquor and arrested four persons in this connection from Bihar's Begusarai district.

On a tip off, a police team raided Kola Bahiyar village and recovered 100 cartons of foreign liquor hidden under the ground, Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Mishra said.

Four persons were arrested.

Police also recovered two country made pistols and 16 cartridges from their possession besides a jeep which was used by them to carry the liquor in different places, he said.
