One killed, 33 injured in gas tanker-bus collision

One person was killed and 33 others were injured when a gas tanker collided with a Haryana Roadways bus today near Ratia road in Fatehabad district here, police said.

The deceased was identified as Sadhu Ram (35) belonging to Jamalpur Sekhon village in Tohana, Fatehabad SP, O P Narwal said.

Among those injured, ten have been admitted to a hospital in Fatehabad. Seven people who had suffered serious injuries were referred to Agroha Medical College in Hisar, but are stable, he said.

A team from the oil company the gas tanker belonged to is on its way to Fatehabad, the officer said.
