One killed in oxygen cylinder blast

One person was killed while two others sustained injuries today when an oxygen cylinder exploded at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital here, police said.

Police Commissioner (Amritsar) Jatinder Singh Aulakh said blast occurred when the oxygen cylinder fell from the shoulder of a man, who was carrying it, and led to his death.

Two other people were injured in the incident, police said.

The victim used to supply cylinders to the hospital.
