PappaRoti enters India; to open 10 outlets in 3 years

Malaysian Cafe chain PappaRoti today opened an outlet in Gurgaon to mark its entry into India with plans to start 10 outlets in next three years at an investment of over Rs 10 crore per year.

The chain, which has over 400 cafes globally in 18 countries, opened the outlet at DLF CyberHub, Gurgaon, the company said in a statement.

It has signed a franchise agreement with Genext V&M International for the outlets.

"We have planned to expand in the region with 10 outlets which requires an approximate investment of 10 crore for 1 year," Genext V&M International co-founder Vikram Mahajan said.
 

The Malaysian bun brand has portfolio of food items including, bread-based snacks, beverages, appetisers, pizzas and salads, among others.
