The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) today slammed the PDP-BJP government in the state, terming three years of the government as a dark period in the political history of the state.
At a convention here today, JKPYC chief Pranav Shagotra termed the alliance as an opportunist arrangement of two parties having diametrically opposite ideologies, just to enjoy power.
"The PDP-BJP coalition is an opportunist arrangement of two parties having diametrically opposite ideologies just to enjoy power. This alliance during the last three years has proved as non performing liability.Residents of all regions and sub-regions of the state are bearing brunt of the misdeeds and wrong policies of this dispensation," Shagotra said.
Three years of the present state government is a dark period in the political history in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
Addressing a convention of youth Congress workers of Jammu west Assembly segment, Youth Congress National secretary Shishpal Keharwala said that people are confronting to get basic amenities but ministers have maintained deaf ears and blind eyes towards mounting problems of the commoners.
In Jammu region, people are facing hardship due to miss-governance, Shishpal said.
