Two pedestrians were injured today after they were caught in a firing incident involving two rival groups.
Around six motorcycle-borne youths stopped outside the house of Gurinder Singh in Khera Masjid area and opened fire on him and his brother Ravinder, police said.
While the two managed to escape unhurt, pedestrians Maya Ram and Prince sustained wounds after being caught in the firing, they said.
The incident led to a panic in the area after which additional security personnel were deployed, police said.
