Joey Essex believes Zayn Malik's former fiance Perrie Edwards is a "really nice girl".
The 25-year-old reality TV star hinted he has developed a soft spot for her the Little Mix singer, 22, after they recently hooked up, reported Contactmusic.
"She's a really nice girl," Essex said.
The pair hit it off after they met and exchanged contact details at the Pride of Britain Awards in London last month.
But the former "The Only Way is Essex" star is adamant they are just having a bit of "fun" at the moment because they're both still trying to get over their past relationships.
"We exchanged numbers, then we met up a few times. She's just come out of a really serious relationship and I've had serious relationships in the past," he said.
