Police arrests 3 persons, recovers stolen car and motorcycles

Police today arrested three persons and recovered a stolen car and nine two-wheelers from different localities of Hazaribagh town, a senior police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off that three persons were negotiating with a man to sell two stolen vehicles in Meru, a police team led by officer-in-charge of Muffasil police station Sumar Kumar rushed to the spot to apprehend the culprits, Superintendent of Police, Anup Birtharay said.

Based on the leads provided by the arrested persons during interrogation, the SP said seven more stolen two-wheelers and a car were recovered from different places of Hazaribagh.
