Prez to attend convocation of GB Pant varsity tomorrow

President Pranab Mukherjee will attend the 29th convocation ceremony of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand tomorrow.

The President will visit Pantnagar under Udham Singh Nagar district in Uttarakhand tomorrow where he will attend the 29th convocation of the university, a press release issued today by Rashtrapati Bhavan said.

The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology is the first agricultural university of India. It was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru on 17 November 1960 and is regarded as the harbinger of Green Revolution in the country.
