PTC India net up 15 pc at Rs 130.54 cr in July-September

today posted 15 per cent jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 130.54 crore in the quarter ended September, mainly due to higher revenues.

The company's standalone net profit was Rs 113.08 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2016, Ltd said in a filing today.

According to a statement, the company's total rose to Rs 5,414.27 crore in the period under review from Rs 4,151.13 crore in the similar period a year ago.

The company said that the from operations of the company includes sales of electricity and service charges. The from operations in the quarter was Rs 5,210.10 crore as compared to Rs 3,974.76 crore.

During April-September period, its net profit stood at Rs 195.89 crore, up from Rs 169.53 crore a year ago.
