Qatar says emir receives Saudi invite to GCC summit

Qatar's Sheikh has received an invite from to attend this month's summit, despite an ongoing diplomatic crisis, has said.

The invitation to is significant as has been isolated by a group of countries led by since June 2017, in the worst political fallout between the energy-rich Gulf powers.

Agency said in a tweet that the had received "an invitation from the of Saudi Arabia" for the meeting on December 9.
