R K Sharma new secretary of steel and mines dept in Odisha

In a minor reshuffle in bureaucracy, Odisha government today appointed Raj Kumar Sharma as the new principal secretary of steel and mines department, officials said.

Sharma, a 1987 batch IAS officer, was working as the principal secretary of forest and environment department.

Development Commissioner U N Behera has been given additional charge of forest and development department.

The steel and mines department secretary G Srinivas has been transfered and posted as the new secretary of labour and employment department with additional charge of information technology (IT) department.

Meanwhile, the officials said 1992 batch officer Chandra Sekhar Kumar has been empanelled in joint secretary rank in the central government.
 

Industries secretary Vishal Dev also got the joint secretary level in union government.
