Rahul meets Cong leaders from minority community

Rahul Gandhi today met Congress leaders from the minority communities and is learnt to have discussed the party's strategy on issues confronting them.

The meeting, that lasted a few hours, was attended among others by top party leaders including Ahmed Patel, Shakeel Ahmed and other leaders from the Muslim, Christian, Sikh and other communities.

"Met Congress leaders from minority communities to discuss ways to strengthen our organization and outreach at all levels," he tweeted after the meeting.

The meeting assumes significance as it comes in the wake of raging debate on cow vigilantism by certain groups in the country.
