The bland and barren walls of Sawai Madhopur railway station in Rajasthan has come alive with exciting images of tigers, cranes, trees and other wildlife painted on them.
Railway along with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have undertaken an ambitious project to paint coaches and stations with the images of wildlife to spread awareness about conservation and promote tourism through pictorial representation, said a senior Railway Ministry official.
To begin with Sawai Madhopur station have been painted by a team of local painters who have transformed the station in Rajasthan into a tourist destination in itself.

The main objective of this project is to create awareness about conservation among tourists visiting the Ranthambore National Park.
So travellers visiting the Ranthambore National Park by train have something really interesting to look forward to as the walls of the Sawai Madhopur railway station in Rajasthan are adorned with paintings, graffitis and cut-outs that depict the wide variety of flora and fauna of the region.
