Rain stops play in ODI

Rain stopped play in the first one-day international between India and Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla National Stadium here today.

After electing to bat, Bangladesh were 119 for one in 15.4 overs when heavens opened up. Tamim Iqbal (57) and Litton Das (3) were at the crease at the break.

Opener Soumya Sarkar (54) was the only wicket to fall. He was run out by Suresh Raina in the 14th over.
