Raj govt to develop Madrassas as model institutes

Rajasthan government today said at least one Madrassa in every district of the state will be developed as a model institute.

Minority Affairs Minister Arun Chaturvedi directed the officers concerned to initiate work in this regard following a meeting with Rajasthan Madrassa Board Chairperson Mehrunisa Khan.

Several proposals for developing Madrassas of state were prepared in the meeting and sent to Finance Department for approval.
