A police constable in Rajasthan's Barmer district was today arrested by sleuths of Anti- Corruption Bureau for alleged corruption in a dowry-related case, ACB officials said today.
Head constable Mangilal posted at Bisala police station in Barmer-rural was today arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 to help one client to get disposal of one dowry related case, an ACB spokesperson said here.
The accused had demanded the sum from Balwanta Ram to give him respite in a dowry atrocities case lodged in Bisala police station, the spokesperson said.

The bribe deal was struck at Rs 20,000 and the accused was trapped red handed in a raid by ACB sleuths this morning, the official said.
A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was lodged against the constable, the spokesperson added.
