Ram Gopal Varma heaps praise on Sridevi

Sridevi, 49, who is making a comeback on the big screen after an hiatus of 15 years, plays a middle-class housewife in director Gauri Shinde's debut project.

"Watched 'English Vinglish' trailer... Aftr 15 yr hiatus Sridevi is looking 15 times more beautiful and seems to have become 15 times better actress," Varma posted on Twitter.

The film also stars French actor Mehdi Nebbou along with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a special cameo.

The film is slated to release on October 5.
