The Bihar state capital today recorded a maximum temperature of 34.2 degrees celsius, three degrees below normal, and was likely to witness partly cloudy sky tomorrow.
"At present an easterly wind is blowing that brings humidity and hence temperature will not be recorded as very high," a Met official said.
The city had recorded 32.4 degrees celsius yesterday.

The Met department also said that Gaya, may also witness a partly cloudy sky tomorrow while Bhagalpur and Purnea are expected to witness a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershower.
Among the major cities, Gaya remained the hottest place in the state with maximum temperature recorded at 38.7 degrees celsius against yesterday's 36.5 degrees celsius, the Met office said.
While Bhagalpur registered a maximum temperature of 32.5 degrees celsius, Purnea recorded the lowest maximum temperature at 29.4 degree celsius, it said.
The highest maximum temperature was recorded at 39 degrees celsius from Dehri-on-Sone in Rohtas district.
