Retired from his decades long eventful political life, M Venkaiah Naidu now feels that there should be "some time and space" to meet people as he lamented about the need to follow protocol in his new role as Vice President of India.
"There should be some time and some space to meet, to greet, talk, walk with the people. Then only you really enjoy...," Naidu said at the beginning of his speech at the 11th Indian Fisheries And Aquaculture Forum here.
"Of course as a politician I used to do it. Now I am out of politics. I am retired from politics but not from public life," he said.
