Rs 3.45 lakh cash, heroin seized from two cars

In separate incidents, heroin and Rs 3.45 lakh cash were seized from two cars today in the winter capital city, police said.

During a checking drive at Shamshan Ghat Chowk at Shastri Nagar, 150 grams of heroin and Rs 3.45 lakh were seized from a car, a police officer said.

He said there were four persons in the car.

In another incident, 50 grams of heroin was seized from a car during a checking at Gangyal Chowk, the officer said, adding there were four persons in it.

FIRs have been registered atGandhi Nagar and Gangyal police stations under relevant sections of the law, he said.
