Armed miscreants today looted Rs 7.5 lakh from a beverage distributor at Malgodam Chowk in Bihar's Samastipur town.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tanvir Ahmed said two unidentified motorcycle-borne miscreantss barged into the office of Coca Cola distributor Mithilesh Kumar and looted a bag containing the cash from him at gun point while he was about to leave for a bank to deposit the money.
They also beat up Kumar and injured him when he refused to part with the money, Ahmed said.
Ahmed said the borders of Samastipur town has been sealed and raids are on to nab the culprits.
