Saria strengthens on fresh stockists buying

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne at the wholesale market today on increased buying by stockists on the back of rise in demand from construction units.

Traders said increased buying by stockists due to pick-up in demand from engineering and construction units mainly led to rise in saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 46,500, Rs 46,000 and Rs 43,600 per tonne respectively. Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 44,300 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 46,500, 10-mm Rs 46,000, 12-mm Rs 43,600, 16-25 mm Rs 44,300.

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm, Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
