President Pranab Mukherjee's daughter Sharmistha, industrialist Naveen Jindal's wife Shallu and classical Oddisi dancer Dona Ganguly are among the many prominent exponents, who will be performing at the Sixth All-India Classical Dance Festival, commencing here from September 12.
The four-day cultural event will be held at the Kalabharathi auditorium in the city.
Addressing a press conference here today, R Krishna Goud, Chairman of Nataraj Music and Dance Academy, which is organising the programme, said the festival will open with the recital of Sharmistha.

Sharmishta is an accomplished Kathak exponent and has performed in major festivals in India and over forty countries abroad, he said.
While Dona, wife of former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, is a renowned name in the field of Odissi dance. She has performed in prestigious fests in India and abroad in countries like US, UK, China and Bangladesh.
Shallu is a noted Kuchipudi danseuse who performs with distinction, immense artistry and brilliant intensity, Goud added.
Other performers include Eswar Prasad from Hyderabad (Kuchipudi Bajan Nrithyam), Padmasree Darsana Javery from New Delhi (Manipuri), Rathikanth Mahapatra from Bhubaneswar (Odissi) and Sadanam P V Balakrishnan from Kerala (Kathakali).
Also, Padmasree Gopal Prasda Dhubey from Jharkhand (Chau), Sanchitha Lahothi from Bangalore (Kathak) and Roopa Kiran from Hong Kong (Bharathanatyam) Padmasree Bharathi Sivaji from New Delhi (Mohini Attam) Guru Banumathi from Bangalore (Bharathanatyam) will regale the audience during the festival, a release said.
