Silver prices were up by Rs 375 to Rs 41,800 per kg in futures trade today as traders increased their bets amid firming global trends.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March moved up by Rs 375, or 0.91 per cent, to Rs 41,800 per kg in business turnover of 475 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in May traded higher by Rs 345, or 0.82 per cent, at Rs 42,400 per kg in 23 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices at futures trade to a firming trend in the precious metal overseas and pick up in demand in the spot market.
Meanwhile, Silver rose 0.56 per cent to USD 17.15 an ounce in Singapore.
