Silver prices recovered by Rs 271 to Rs 36,554 per kg in futures trade today after speculators enlarged positions amidst firming global trends.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in May was up by Rs 271, or 0.75%, to Rs 36,554 per kg in a business turnover of 2,003 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month July traded higher by Rs 253, or 0.69%, to Rs 37,002 per kg in 40 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices at futures trade to a firming trend in the precious metal overseas.
Meanwhile, silver traded 0.80% higher at $16.28 an ounce in Singapore.
