Special DG takes temporary charge as DGP, J&K

Special Director General (Coordination) of Police SK Mishra today took over as the DGP of Jammu and Kashmir on a temporary basis as incumbent K Rajendra Kumar has gone on a 10-day leave.

"Special DG (Coordination) SK Mishra took over the charge of DGP, J&K at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today till DGP K Rajendra Kumar returns from leave," said an official spokesman.

Kumar has gone on a 10-day leave for his daughter's marriage, he added.
