Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has praised his "Mr India" actor Sridevi for her impeccable understanding of both comic and sensual aspects of the craft.
The 71-year-old director took to Twitter where he recalled shooting for the songs "Hawa Hawai" and "Kaate Nahi Kat Te" from the 1987 blockbuster.
"Filming 'Mr India' songs and the Charlie Chaplin sequence with Sridevi were one of the most joyful moments of my directing experience. Her intuitive sense of the comic and the sensual are amazing," Kapur wrote alongside an article.
Also starring Anil Kapoor and Amrish Puri, the movie was produced by Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor.
