Singer Susan Boyle reportedly donated her old clothes to a charity shop and then bought them back.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' star spent 250 pounds for the clothes at the store near her home after having a change of mind, reported Sun Online.

"Susan's PA was clearing out her house and came across what she thought were old clothes. She put them in bin bags and donated them to a charity shop after getting permission from her.

"Days later, Susan realised she'd made an error and went back to the shop to buy them back. She convinced herself over time she needed them. She was just being tough with her wardrobe," a source said.

The 52-year-old's friends have been encouraging her to spend some of her 20 million pounds fortune on herself.

They insist her wardrobe has barely changed since she became famous and say it's about time she splashed out on designer threads. But Susan is known to be reluctant to spend.
