Jayanta Talukdar, who was the highest ranked Indian to qualify for the main round, was knocked out of the last 32 stage as the Indians cut a sorry figure in the individual events of the Archery World Cup Stage III in Turkey today.
According to information received here, fourth seed Talukdar, who got a direct entry into the last 32, lost his first round match against Dan Olaru of Moldova 3-7 in what was a meek submission.
Among other Indians, Atanu Das and Sanjay Boro made second round exits while Bulbul Marandi could not get past the first round in the individual recurve section.
