Teachers stage demo against DPEO

About 500 activists of Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organisations today staged a demonstration in front of the office of the District Primary Education Officer in the city.

Braving the rains, they shouted slogans, accusing the DPEO of functioning against the interests of teachers and students, police said.
