Tejpal appears before Goa police

Tarun Tejpal, accused of sexual assault of a woman colleague, appeared before the Crime Branch of Goa police for questioning in connection with the case filed against him.

Shortly after his arrival from Delhi, Tejpal, accompanied by his family members and lawyers, drove to Dona Paula to appear before the police which had called him for questioning.

He brushed aside questions from journalists who mobbed him and asked him "would you confess".

Earlier, Tejpal got protection against arrest from the Sessions judge till tomorrow morning.
