Three children drown in Chambal river

Three children today drowned in Chambal river in the district where they had gone to take a bath.

A group of four friends had gone to the river to take bath but three of them slipped into deep water and were swept away in the heavy current of water, SP Rajesh Singh said.

Divers have been pressed into service to locate their bodies, he said.
