A man from Uttar Pradesh and two
arms suppliers were arrested today with weapons and cash from a locality in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested one Md. Mustakim, a native of Uttar Pradesh's Bhadohi district, and two local arms supplier Md. Islam and Md. Jamshed from Chowk Bazar with two pistols and Rs. 12,500 cash, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Barun Kumar Sinha said.
Mustakim was here to purchase weapons from the suppliers duo, he said.
All three have been booked under Arms Act, Sinha said.
