The police claimed to have busted a gang of robbers after arresting six persons following an encounter, an official said.
The official claimed that three of the six held were injured in the gun-fight while a policeman also got hurt.
"After two recent robbery attempts at under construction sites, the police was combing the area. Kasna police got information about criminals near Chuharpur underpass. A team rushed there and after a brief encounter six criminals were arrested," SP, Suniti, said.

Three of them suffered bullet injuries and were sent to a hospital, she said.
"Bundles of copper, three country made pistols, one car and two motorcycles were recovered from them. Copper was robbed by them from a sector Beta 2 mall site. One policeman has also suffered bullet injury. He has been admitted to a hospital," the official said.
The arrested were identified as Kuldeep, Narinder, Surjit, Ravinder, Jitendra and Surendra, the SP said.
