Three killed after car rams into stationary truck

Three persons were killed after the car carrying them rammed into a stationary truck here, police said today.

The mishap took place on NH-28, under the jurisdiction of Kanti police station area of the district yesterday night, the police said.

All the three occupants of the car - Rajan Mishra, Shivpujan Thakur and Vinod Pandey, - died on the spot, the SHO of Kanti police station, Raghunath Prasad, said.

The deceased, all three in their 40s, were travelling from Muzaffarpur town to Kanti, the SHO said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, he said.
