Truck runs over 3, angry villagers set vehicle on fire

Three persons were crushed to death by a speeding truck near Majlispurtofir village under Bhopa police station in the district this evining, later angry villagers set the vehicle on fire, police said.

The victims were identified as 50-year-old Brijpal, 38-year-old Rakesh and Umesh, 30.

Irate mob also blocked the Bhokaheri road, forcing police to rush to the spot and bring the situation under control, they said.
