Two brothers shot at during tiff over Holi celebrations

Two brothers were injured after being shot at during a tiff over Holi celebrations in Naya Bazar locality of Shamli, police said today.

The incident took place last evening when the two brothers -- Sharvan Kumar (25) and Raju (21) -- had a tiff with two youths -- Sanjay and his associate -- over Holika Dahan, they said.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital in a critical condition.

Police have registered a case and a hunt is on for the accused.
