Two burglars lynched by mob

Superintendent of Police Sabyasachi Raman Mishra said a teenage boy entered a jewellery shop when the shopowner had gone to fetch water keeping his shop open.

The teenage boy lifted gold ornaments from the shop and handed it over to two persons on a motorcycle who tried to flee with the jewellery.

The locals caught hold of the two persons trying to flee with the jewllery and started beating them. Both of them died on the spot.

The SP both the bodies have been sent for postmortem and the teenage boy arrested.
