Two NDFB(S) terrorists were arrested from Bongaigaon railway station before boarding a train for Dimapur in Nagaland.
According to senior police officials, based on a tip-off, two cadres of the Songbijit faction of NDFB were nabbed today while they were entering the platform.
They were to board the Kamrup Express for Dimapur.
The duo have been identified as Swmkar Mahilary (22) from Amalaiguri in Kokrajhar district and Fungbili Brahma (16) from Panbari in Chirang district.
Bongaigaon Superintendent of Police Abhijit Bora said Mahilary is a transporter of fresh recruits and Brahma is a trained cadre of the outfit.
"Two more woman cadres, however, managed to escape from the station after seeing the police," he added.
The arrested cadres are being interrogated by the police at Bongaigaon police station.
