Two sisters drown in pond in Assam
Two sisters drowned in a pond in Assam's Morigaon district Tuesday, police said.
The two sisters identified as Ritushree Deoraja (3) and Deboleena Deoraja (2) drowned when they were taking a bath in a pond in Chakukdhar village, they said.
The bodies of the two girls were recovered by locals and police and sent to Morigaon Civil hospital for post-mortem examination, police added.
