Tyre trader shot dead by two bike borne assailants

A tyre trader was allegedly shot dead by two bike borne men while he was returning home from his shop in Rajnagar district centre, police said today.

The deceased identified as Rajeev Chauhan was shot at his temple late last night, Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have booked five named and two unidentified people in this case, the SSP said.
