Book lovers can now grab their favourite characters from childhood stories and cartoons in the form of metal bookmarks from the ongoing Delhi book fair in Pragati Maidan here.
The bookmarks, made out of thin metal, have cutouts of different characters or situations mounted on the top, that will peep out of the books.
"I used to read a lot of books and fancy all the bookmarks that I used to buy online. The idea came from the desire of having my own customised metal bookmarks," says Prateek Soni, who pioneered the idea.

For the geeky ones, there is "Classy Glassy" shaped in the form of spectacles, for adventurous readers there is the "Tiny Dino", inspired from the Norse warriors is the "Viking", and for music buffs there is the "Guitar."
"These are all minimal designs so that people can relate to them. For example, there is the moustache design, the yesteryears 'scooter ride' and 'In hurry' design that shows a man getting late for work. I think this is also a great gifting idea," he says.
Soni, a college dropout, who started off with making personalised bookmarks for himself and gifting them to friends and family, saw a promising business venture in the idea and launched it officially under the name of Ruha in May this year.
