Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices edged up by 0.13 per cent to Rs 532.60 per 10 kg in futures trading today as participants built up fresh positions after demand picked up in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June rose by 70 paise or 0.13 per cent to Rs 532.60 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 33 lots.

On similar lines, the oil for delivery in far-month July contracts traded higher by 50 paise or 0.09 per cent to Rs 530.50 per 10 kg in 30 lots.

Analysts attributed rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade to building up of positions by speculators, driven by pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing regions.
