Later addressing a well-attended public meeting at Mudhalakulam grounds in the city, he said,"the yatra is not against any community, religion or political party. It is an attempt to bring sections of majority community and work for their rights."
"It is aimed at "save Kerala, build Kerala" where no justice or righteousness is prevailing. The government of the day is pursuing its goal of self-interest," he charged.
The SNDP leader alleged that efforts were being made from every quarter from the very beginning to put break on the yatra.
"While both the UDF and LDF are accusing me of being 'communal', they are indulging in vote bank politics by appeasing the minority communities," he said.
Natesan urged that Land Reforms Act should be implemented in the state immediately and excess lands given on lease to be recovered and distributed to poor people.
